Swallow Yachts raid, Mylor 2024 – DEPOSIT

July 15 - July 19

We are delighted to welcome you to the 2024 Swallow Yachts Raid – join us for this well established and enjoyable sailing event which invites Swallow Yacht owners to gather at Mylor in Cornwall for some great sailing, wonderful local food… and the best of the south west’s summer sunshine too (if we can arrange it, of course!)

The Raid will run from the 15th – 19th July 2024 out of Mylor Yacht Harbour, where we look forward to joining with you for three days of sailing in the good company of other Swallows and plenty of socialising afterwards too.

A flat rate per-boat entry fee covers mooring at the harbour as well as your car and trailer parking. An additional per-person cost for each crew member includes scrumptious lunches on sailing days and 4 nights’ evening meals at Castaways Mylor.

A £100 non refundable deposit is required for booking, and the balance for your party booking will will be taken in spring.

Non-sailing guests of the party are charged at full price and the lunchtime/evening catering package is included for them.

Optional extras include breakfast catering, personalised Swallow Raid clothing and local charts.

Tent/camper van pitches are available on an exclusive basis at Windsport Mylor until 31st December 2023. You will need to book your spot directly with them – see information below


Per-boat entry fee: £350 (includes mooring plus car and trailer parking Mon afternoon to Fri morning) 

Catering £145 per person (includes a two-course evening meal Mon – Thurs, plus a picnic lunch, a cream tea lunch and a pasty lunch on sailing days)

Optional breakfast at Castaways: £46 per person (Tues – Fri)

Charts available for £20 each (Mylor and Helford charts are required for this event)


Included in your package are the following

  • 2-course evening meal on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • Lunches on the sailing days, including a picnic lunch, a full cream tea lunch (sandwiches, scones and tea) at the Pandora Inn, and a delicious pasty lunch
  • Welcome drinks on the first night
  • Jetty drinks after sailing each day


We can cater for most dietary requirements – we will gather this info in spring.

Breakfast is not included in the catering package; this is optional and a separate fee applies, please see above.

Raid clothing
Personalised T-shirts, polo shirts, jumpers etc.. are available for you and your crew, we will be taking orders in spring along with the full payment.
B&B/Hotel Accommodation

There are many options for booking B&B or self catering accommodation near to Mylor Harbour and Falmouth.  You can go through a search site such as bookings.com or Airbnb to find what’s available. There is a Premier Inn hotel just south of Truro, about 15 mins drive from Mylor Harbour. Bookings must be made by individuals directly with their accommodation provider or host.

Motorhomes/campervans and camping

Windsport Camping is conveniently located next to Mylor Harbour and Raid attendees have exclusive access to bookings until 31st December 2023.  After this date there may still be spaces available but bookings will be open to the general public from 1st January 2024.  Please note that camping and campervan/motorhome pitches must be booked directly with Coastland Ltd (who manage bookings on behalf of Windsport) and not via Swallow Events. You are advised to make your reservation early as the site is open to the general public during our event and, as such, may book out for the week of the Raid.  

To secure your pitch you will need to contact Windsport directly by either booking online at https://www.coastland.life/ or by emailing hello@coastland.life with the following information:

Full name, email address, telephone number, whether its a camping tent or campervan pitch required, number of people staying per pitch, and do you require a standard or large pitch?

Coastland will then make the booking for you and send you a booking confirmation and an invoice by email.  The pitch includes electric hook-up and an the standard allocation is 2 people per pitch (additional people by arrangement is fine).

Any queries about the site or bookings for tents/campervans should be directed to Coastland Ltd (01326 376 191) who manage bookings for the Windsport site.


If you or any of your crew can no longer make the event after paying your deposit, please get in touch as soon as possible by emailing events@swallowyachts.com or calling: 01239 615 482. Unfortunately we will not be able to refund your deposit.

Please book your space by using the deposit payment below – remember only 1 deposit payment is needed for each boat and we do need confirmed crew numbers upon booking
