Matt Newland studied engineering at Cambridge University before working for a prominent U.S.-based management consultancy. Realizing his passion lay beyond the corporate world, he transitioned to a role with Tony Castro Yacht Design and eventually joined Swallow Yachts, a company founded by his father. At that time, Swallow Boats were known for their kit boats, sold in flat packs for owners to build themselves. Recognizing shifting customer demands and the need for a broader market, Matt steered the business toward producing a range of dayboats and small yachts. In 2008, the company moved into a purpose-built facility, expanded again in 2014, and in 2015 rebranded as Swallow Yachts to reflect its growing range and ambitions. Matt continues to drive the business forward with innovation and passion for yacht design.

With a strong background in logistics and administration, Lara Morgan expertly manages our day-to-day operations and ensures seamless customer experiences.
